GunAlong is a shoulderharness, which distributes the weight of the weapon over your shoulders and back. You are in high readiness to shoot all the time because you carry your gun in a ready position. A light pressure with your triggerfinger on the redmarked buckle-catch and your gun is released. On the buckle it is also a point you can easily feel with your fingertip without looking. Released, the firearm is completely free from hindering slings.
You can get into fireing position directly from the ready position at your side, it can be performed without big movements. 

You can mount your firearm much quicker than if you have to take it from the shoulder as when you use an ordinary sling.
